    Why You’re Not Getting Interviews

In most cases it’s not “the market”. It’s the resume: wrong target, unclear proof, weak bullets, and formatting that makes your experience hard to scan.

    1) Your resume is generic

If the top third doesn’t clearly target a role, recruiters assume you’re not a fit. Tailor to the job’s core themes and remove distractions.

    Use Job Description Matcher.

    2) Your bullets are tasks, not evidence

“Responsible for…” doesn’t show outcomes. Recruiters look for scope, tools, and impact.

Use Bullet Point Rewriter and bullet examples.

    3) Missing keywords/themes (or stuffing them)

If your resume doesn’t reflect the job’s language, it looks misaligned. But stuffing tools you didn’t use backfires. Keywords must be proven in bullets.

Read Resume Keywords & Job Match.

    4) Formatting makes scanning hard

Dense blocks, fancy layouts, and inconsistent dates slow down scanning and can break ATS parsing.

Use ATS Checker and the formatting checklist.
